Admissions Requirements for MBA in Ireland

• An MBA course requires a degree from a recognized university, a professional qualification obtained through exams, or a substantial track record of business achievement without a degree or qualification.
• A minimum of three years of professional work experience (with an undergraduate degree) or five years (with a professional qualification) is also required for admission.
• Aspirants must pass the Graduate Management Admissions Test with a high score. Regardless of the institution, there is usually a fixed score for eligibility. However, it is always advisable to check with the respective university or business school to determine the minimum eligible score in order to avoid any complications in the application and admission process later on.
• Applicants whose native language is not English should take an English language proficiency test, such as the TOEFL or IELTS. Students who have completed their formal education in English, on the other hand, may be exempt from taking this test.
• To apply for the desired MBA programmes, a minimum eligibility score for both of the above-mentioned language proficiency tests is required. TOEFL requires a minimum of 100 for an internet-based test, 250 for a computer-based test, and 600 for a paper-based test. In the case of IELTS, an overall score of 6.5 is required, with a minimum of 6 in each section.
